Behind the Lens
My Story
Photography found me early. My grandad handed me a Kodak Pocket Instamatic and I was immediately inspired to try something new. I never looked back.
From that first camera, I was hooked. Disposable cameras, compact cameras, whatever I could get my hands on — I was always capturing moments. Even as phones took over and everyone became a photographer, something kept pulling me back towards a proper camera in my hand.
So I committed. I worked my way up from compact cameras through to a DSLR and now shoot with a mirrorless camera. I taught myself, made mistakes, learned from them, and developed a genuine love for the editing process. This is where a good photo becomes a great one.
As an Army veteran, I bring a calm, considered presence to every shoot. I understand people, their stories, their resilience, and their humanity. I’m particularly passionate about working with veterans and those who understand the importance of wellbeing and kindness.
That dedication has been recognised with awards sponsored by Wex and Canon. The real reward is always the reaction when a client sees their photos for the first time.
Today, Aspicio Imagery is built on one simple belief and that is the best moments in life are unscripted. I’m not here to pose you or direct you. I’m here to watch, to be present, and to capture the spontaneous joy that makes your story uniquely yours.
You live it. I capture it. You cherish it.
